Several years ago I learned to build beauty out of the ashes when God showed me how he could turn my struggles as a widow into a purpose for my life. With the help of some wonderful friends, we began a group called “First Tea @ Five" (1Timothy 5:16), where widowed women get together, not because they are grieving but because they are looking for a way to learn to live and love the new life God has handed them.
We laugh at the ups and downs of life and share ways to handle situations that pop up as a result of living alone.This blog is a way to do the same via the internet.
